BE S2ECURE RESULTS AT ReUSO2022

BE S2ECURe researchers attended the Xth Documentation, Restoration and Reuse of Heritage conference - ReUSO2022 conference in Porto, Portugal, from 2nd to 4th Novemeber.

The first paper is entitled "H-BET Historic Built Environment Typologies. Open spaces and SUOD events in the compact historic town", authors: Edoardo Currà, Alessandro D'Amico, Martina Russo, Marco Angelosanti, Enrico Quagliarini and Cassia De Lian Cui, presented by Cassia De Lian Cui. It offers a summary of results on WP3 tasks concerning the typologies of historical BETs, connecting their morphological, geometrical and constructive characterization with the risks to which they are prone.

The second paper is entitled "Toward quick multi-risk mitigation in historic Public Open Spaces: a behavioral-design approach in typological scenarios for heatwaves and terrorist acts", authors: Gabriele Bernardini, Enrico Quagliarini and Marco D’Orazio, presented by Gabriele Bernardini. This works deals with the definition of a SLOD-to-SUOD simulation model and its application to a specific BET derived from the analysis of real-world case studies, according to WP4 results.

The contribution has been also published in the book of abstracts of the conference, and is available here, while extended versions will be selected for possible publications in international journals.
